Linda Russano Morra focuses her practice on the taxation, ERISA, and family law aspects of pension and profit sharing plans. She is an expert on employee benefits issues in family law cases such as complex benefit divisions in marital dissolution and the preparation of QDROs and DROs.

Family lawyers call Linda when pension matters come up. They respect her ability to fashion creative solutions based on her detailed understanding of the law and knowledge of the interaction of community property law and ERISA.

Plan administrators seek Linda’s counsel in restoring plans to tax-qualified status and remaining compliant.

Estate planners value her guidance on the complexities regarding minimum required distributions for IRAs and pensions.

Linda writes on domestic relations order matters for Aspen Publisher’s “Answer Book” and lectures for the National Business Institute, Lorman Seminars, various bar associations, and other conferences that earn lawyers continuing education credit.

Linda began her career in the retirement division of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power and later moved to a third-party administration firm, where she rose to vice president. Linda has worked with Alex Brucker since 1985 and in 1992 joined him in founding Brucker & Morra.
