Meredith J. Sesser is primarily responsible for volume submitter plans and analyzing affiliated service groups, controlled groups, contingent workforce and professional employer organizations, and penalty abatement for late filing of Form 5500.
Employers, benefits administrators, lawyers, and accountants count on Meredith when a stressful situation demands exacting knowledge and precision execution.
Meredith takes the calls when clients have problems, from their IRS and Labor Department investigations to their uncertainty about underlying investments or insecurity about aspects of a plan. She protects clients from making mistakes and she fixes when they occur. She is known for her expertise at translating pension legalese into English.
Meredith is a member of the board of directors of the Los Angeles Chapter of the National Institute of Pension Administrators (NIPA) and is a member of the American Society of Pension Professionals and Actuaries (ASPPA).
Prior to joining Brucker & Morra, Meredith was an associate at a Los Angeles-area firm where she mastered the intricacies of ERISA, defined contribution and defined benefit plans, employee benefits, and estate planning.
